Blessings of Home Cards to Color

Love to color? This set of cards to color is just what you need. I find coloring is relaxing and helps me unwind, these are going to be fun to color. The inspiration for my project came from Chris Ann Tomasso, I absolutely loved her set of cards that she created. The pretty floral images are stamped with the Blessings of Home and Hand Penned Petals stamp sets. I love how well they go together.

To create the Image on the front of the box and each of the cards inside, I die cut the largest scalloped rectangle with the Scallop Contour Dies on Basic White card stock. The pretty flower images are stamped in Memento ink and Stampin’ Blends to color the card for the front of the box. I stamped 2 of each of the flower images for the cards inside.

Now, lets decorate the box. I added a piece of Heart & Home DSP to a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Acetate Card box. Leaving the box flat I put a piece of Tear & Tape along the edge of the DSP to adhere to the box and wrapped it around, finishing with Tear & Tape on the other edge.

I added a some Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon with Tear & Tape. To adhere the card front to the box I cut a few strips of a Foam Adhesive Sheet to give the card some stability when I attached it.

To finish the box, I tied a bow and attached it off to the side of the card with a Mini Glue Dot. Then added a few of my favorite Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels. I love how they catch the light and shimmer.

I hope this inspires you to create some cards to color as well. All the Stampin’ Up! supplies used to make my project are available in my online store. Simply click any of the product photos below!

This month my Customer Thank You cards feature the Happy & Heartfelt Stamp set and the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper. I love the colors and designs of the Heart & Home DSP, I’ve use several of them on my cards this month. This is a great card layout if you need to create some cards in multiples, they are quite easy to do.

After selecting the patterns I wanted to use, I cut the strips of Heart & Home DSP & Gold Foil for my cards. Then using the Happy & Heartfelt Stamp Set, I stamped the Thank You in coordinating colors on Basic White and Very Vanilla cardstock and punched them out along with coordinating scalloped ovals with the Double Oval Punch.

Next, I embossed some Basic White and Very Vanilla cardstock with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder. Then I adhered the Gold Foil Strips to the embossed card stock and trimmed them.

Taking the strips of the Heart & Home DSP, I adhered them to my card bases. Before adhering the embossed layer, I attached the sentiment stamped ovals to the scalloped ovals with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using Mini Glue Dots on the back of the labels I adhered a few of the Gold Foil leaves and stems from the Expressions in ink Ephemera pack. Then using Stampin Dimensionals, I attached the labels to the embossed layer. To finish my cards I adhered the embossed layer to the card base and added a few of the iridescent sequins from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack.

Friendly Hello Sneak Peek

Are you ready for a sneak peek from the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalog and Jan-Feb 2022 Sale-a-bration? I used the Heart & Home Memories & More Cards pack, Heart & Home Memories & More Cards & Envelopes which will be in the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalog. From the Jan-Feb 2022 Sale-a-bration I used a sentiment from the Friendly Hello Stamp set. Both of these will be available beginning on Jan. 4, 2022.

Memories & More Card Packs and the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes make card making quick and easy. You can use them alone or along with a few extras as I’ve done with my Hello Friend card.

I choose the Garden Green card from the Memories & More Card Pack as the first layer for my card and adhered it to the large cardbase from the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. Then I added one of the Square Vellum Doilies with a piece of Tear & Tape in the middle of the doily so it wouldn’t be visible once I added the sentiment.

Next, I fussy cut the flower image from a Memories & More Card that you see below on the right, to add to my card. I love the subtle coloring on the flower image.

The sentiment is stamped it in Misty Moonlight on a label cut from the Sweet Labels dies in Basic White. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach first the label then the flower image that I fussy cut from the Memories & More Card. The 2021-2023 In Color Jewels added a pretty touch to the card. I love how this card turned out and it was so quick and easy to do! I hope you enjoyed this little sneak peek.

I’d love to be your Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator. All the Stampin’ Up! supplies used to make my card will be available in my online store beginning on Jan. 4, 2022. If you don’t have a demonstrator and would like a Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalog and Sale-a-bration brochure, I’d be happy to send them to you. Click Here to request one.
