Memories & More

Snow Day Crafting

I love a snow day! Instead of going out and running errands as we had planned, we stayed in and had a relaxing day while we watched the snow fall. I took advantage of the day to make some cards.

I used one of my favorite things from the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog ~ Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Cards Pack. I’m loving the pretty spring color pallet and the pink foil accents of the stickers.

I paired the Cards Pack with the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Cards and Envelopes. The coordination of the card pack and cards & envelopes make card making quick and easy.

To create this card, I cut a Basic White CS layer and punched a corner with the Very Best Trio punch. I added a small 3″ x 4″ Sweet Thoughts Memory & More card to the Basic White layer, also punching one of the corners with the Very Best Trio punch. I die cut a stitched circle with the Stylish Shapes Dies. With the inside of one of the envelopes from the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More cards & envelopes I punch a 2-1/4″ Circle, then layered it on the stitched circle. To finish the card I added the Happy Birthday stickers, a few flower stickers and some Brushed Brass Butterflies.

My second card also includes a layer of what looks like Designer Series paper but its actually the inside of the envelope I used on the first card, I love all the pretty colors and It added the perfect touch to the cards, don’t you think? The sentiment is stamped with the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set and punched with the Hexagon punch. More Brushed Brass Butterflies complete this pretty card.

My favorite element on this third card is the butterfly. I fussy cut it from one the 4″ x 6″ Sweet Thoughts Memories & More card. I think it looks so pretty with the 3″ x 4″ card. I used my favorite Scalloped Contours Dies to add a few layers in Basic White and Pretty Peacock cardstock.

This last card was created with a layer of Pebbled Path cardstock with a layer of the Sale-A-Bration Softly Stippled Designer Series paper. On the Calypso Coral cardstock layer I stamped some flowers from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set in Calypso Coral ink. The final layer is another 3″ x 4″ Memories and More card with a few of the stickers with foil accents.

Have you created cards with the Sweet Thoughts Memories & More Cards yet? I hope you’ll give them a try.

Friendly Hello Sneak Peek

Are you ready for a sneak peek from the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalog and Jan-Feb 2022 Sale-a-bration? I used the Heart & Home Memories & More Cards pack, Heart & Home Memories & More Cards & Envelopes which will be in the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalog. From the Jan-Feb 2022 Sale-a-bration I used a sentiment from the Friendly Hello Stamp set. Both of these will be available beginning on Jan. 4, 2022.

Memories & More Card Packs and the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes make card making quick and easy. You can use them alone or along with a few extras as I’ve done with my Hello Friend card.

I choose the Garden Green card from the Memories & More Card Pack as the first layer for my card and adhered it to the large cardbase from the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. Then I added one of the Square Vellum Doilies with a piece of Tear & Tape in the middle of the doily so it wouldn’t be visible once I added the sentiment.

Next, I fussy cut the flower image from a Memories & More Card that you see below on the right, to add to my card. I love the subtle coloring on the flower image.

The sentiment is stamped it in Misty Moonlight on a label cut from the Sweet Labels dies in Basic White. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach first the label then the flower image that I fussy cut from the Memories & More Card. The 2021-2023 In Color Jewels added a pretty touch to the card. I love how this card turned out and it was so quick and easy to do! I hope you enjoyed this little sneak peek.

I’d love to be your Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator. All the Stampin’ Up! supplies used to make my card will be available in my online store beginning on Jan. 4, 2022. Hand Penned Memories & More

The Hand Penned Memories & More Card Pack, and the Hand Penned Memories & More Cards & Envelopes make creating cards for any occasion quick and easy. If you need a simple and pretty card, these products are perfect!

I decided to use just a few elements of this card that I selected form the Hand Penned Memories & More Card Pack and do as little stamping as possible. I fussy cut sentiment and used the Layering Circle Dies to cut the circle. To add in a bit of color I cut a Fresh Freesia scalloped circle from the 2021-2023 Designer Series Paper Assortment.

Next, I used the Tailor Made Tags to cut out the tag from Pale Papaya Cardstock. I stamped the flowers on the tag from the Hand Penned Petals stamps in Pale Papaya for tone on tone look. To put my card together I layered the scalloped circle on the Memories & More Card base, then the tag and the smaller circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The bow on the tag was tied with Basic White Bakers Twine. Finally, I added the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels for the center of a few of the flowers. I really like the layers on this card and how easy it was to make, so I created a second card using the What A Year Memories & More Card Pack.

What A Year Card

For this second card I wanted to use Polished Pink (pink is my favorite color). I started with a piece of the Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series paper on a piece of Basic White Cardstock for the card base. I used a card from the What A Year Memories & More Card Pack to die cut the tag using the Tailor Made Tags and fussy cut the Polished Pink Flower. Using the Layering Circles Dies I cut a Basic Gray circle.

The sentiment is the stamped element on this card. I stamped the Many Messages Stamp on Basic White cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Then I die cut the labels with the Messages Die. These Many Messages stamp and Messages dies are great, now I’ve got lots of stamped labels ready to go. To finish this card I added a piece of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon tied with Basic White Bakers Twine and of course a few 2021 – 2023 In Color Jewels.

What A Year Card Measurements:

  • Basic White Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, fold in half
  • In Color DSP Assortment: 4″ x 5-1/2″

Gingerbread & Peppermint Treat Box

Today I have fun treat packaging idea to share with you. I dressed up a Mini Paper Pumpkin box with the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards Pack and the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks. The Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards can be used for so many projects, not just cards. So, let me show you how I did it.

Decorating the Box

To begin, with the Mini Paper Pumpkin box laying flat, I used some painters tape to hold the Decorative Mask in place. Using a Blending Brush and Poppy Parade ink pad, I brushed the ink on the top of the box, the front edge and the back edges. I love the candy cane stripe background that the mask gives for the layers I added on the top of the box.

Next, I fussy cut the star from on the Memories & More Cards Pack and using the Scalloped Contours Dies, die cut the rectangle in Poppy Parade cardstock. I adhered the Poppy Parade rectangle to the Mini Paper Pumpkin box with Liquid Glue, then added the Star with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The little snowflakes are stickers from the Memories & More Cards pack. I added some Subtle Shimmer Sequins to give it a little sparkle.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my project!
