The the Textured Chic Suite has so many beautiful products in the suite. The Season of Chic Stamp Set has images for all seasons and the Chic Dies to cut them out, the gold foil in the Textured Chic Designer Series Paper and Distressed Gold Specialty paper. And don’t miss the matching Textured Chic Memories and More Cards, and the Textured Chic Memories and More Cards & Envelopes. So many possibilities!

Let me show you how I created this pretty card. I started with a Textured Chic card base and created a Z-fold by scoring the front panel of the card base at 2-1/2″and folding it back.

I cut 2 strips of Textured Chic DSP and adhered them to each of the inside sections of the folded panel. Then I adhered another piece of Textured Chic DSP on the inside on the right. With so many beautiful patterns in this DSP pack, I chose to use 3 different patterns.

Next, I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen on Basic White cardstock and die cut it with a square from the Stylish Shapes dies. Then adhered it to with Stampin’ Dimensionals to one of the Textured Chic Memories and More cards.

I die cut a few leaves with the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper that I thought would go well with the leaf images in the Memories and More Card, and adhered them to the corners of the square. I adhered the Memories and More card to the folded front panel. Remember when adding this to your card to put adhesive on just one side of the card back so your card will open properly.

On the inside of the card I wanted the Basic White pane to show just a bit like a frame for Memories and More card on the font. To do this I cut the a piece of Basic White cardstock to 3-1/2″ x4-1/2″, which is just a bit bigger than the Memories and More Card and adhered to the inside of the card. It worked out perfectly, then I added a few of the leaves I cut earlier. Finally, I added a few Champaign Rhinestone Basic Jewels to bring out the gold foil of the Designer Series Paper.

This Birthday Piggy Thinking of You Card

The inspiration for this piggy card came from Michelle Wilder, who presented 3 projects using the super cute This Birthday Piggy stamp set, at a Luv 2 Stamp Group Team event last weekend. Thanks Michelle for the inspiration!

I started with a card base of Orchid Oasis from the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes. Next, I cut 3 strips of 2022-2024 In Color DSP Assortment, in Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party, and adhered them to the card base.

I die cut a square with the Stylish Shapes Dies. Next I stamped the piggy image in Tuxedo Black memento Ink, and colored in the image with Stampin Blends. Then I stamped a few butterflies in Orchid Oasis and Tahitian Tide and added a few of the In Color Matte Decorative Dots. I adhered the square to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Orchid Oasis and die cut it with the Decorative Labels Dies, adhered it to the bottom of the square with a Mini Glue Dot and a Stampin’ Dimensional. To finish I tied a bow with the In Color Bakers Twine to label.

March Customer Thank You Cards

This month my Customer Thank You Cards are inspired by the Annual Catalog. If you are ever looking for inspiration the Annual Catalog is a great place to start, it’s a treasure trove of amazing creations. I took the inspiration from page 68, the Simply Elegant Suite card. I love the elements in this card, it showcases Designer Series Paper and stamping directly on to the cardstock card base.

To make my card I started with stamping the beautiful swirl from the Sentimental Swirl stamp set on the left side of the cardbase. I love stamping tone on tone, it really makes the already pretty colors so much richer. I also stamped some of the swirls on the inside of my cards.

Next, I cut strips of the Abstract Beauty DSP and Gold Foil paper. I adhered the DSP to the Gold Foil Strip, then using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, added them to the right side of the card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Magenta Madness on the label. Before adding the label to my card, I adhered a gold foil element from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack to the back of the lable with some Stampin’ Seal. I cut a piece of Foam Adhesive sheet which I added to the back of the label over the Gold Foil element. Doing this keeps the Gold Foil element lifted off the card but firmly in place on the back of the label.

I wanted to use all the 2020-2022 In Colors and the Abstract Beauty DSP was perfect to pair with these pretty colors. Once I started taking photos of my cards, I had some inspiration to add just a touch of bling, I brushed a little Wink of Stella on the swirls. I love the look, but it was hard to photograph.

Just Thinking of You Today Card Measurements:

  • Cardbase: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score in half at 4-1/4″
  • Abstract Beauty DSP: 1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
  • Gold Foil: 3/4″ x 5-1/2″

I’d love to be your Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator. All the Stampin’ Up! supplies used to make my card are available in my online store. Simply click any of the product photos below!
