This month my Customer Thank You cards feature the Sweetest Cherries Bundle. It’s a fun bundle to create with, and add in the Full basket dies for more fun!

I started with a piece of Parakeet Party cardstock and using Parakeet Party ink stamped the leaf image from the Sweetest Cherries bundle. Then, adhered it to a piece of Basic White cardstock and then added it to the Starry Sky cardbase.

I punched the cherries in Sweet Sorbet cardstock, and the stems in Early Espresso cardstock. The leaves are punched with Parakeet Party cardstock, then I stamped the leaf pattern in Parakeet Party and set them all aside.

Using the Full Basket dies, I die cut the basket in Crumb Cake cardstock and the cloth triangle in Basic White cardstock. I used Mini Glue dots to adhere the cloth triangle to the basket. Before adhering the basket to the card, I placed it where I wanted it to be on the card and used the Mini Glue Dots to add the cherries. leaves and stems. Then I added Mini Glue Dots to the basket to adhere it to the card.

I added an Adhesive Sheet on a scrap of Basic White and Starry Sky cardstock, then die cut the “Thanks” with the Amazing Thanks Dies. Adhesive Sheets make it was easy to add the Starry Sky “Thanks” the basic White base and then to card.

If you haven’t tried Adhesive Sheets I highly recommend them for die cutting especially intricate dies. It’s so much easier to add them to your project when you don’t have to try to put glue on the back to adhere them.

On the inside of card I stamped a cherry, leaf and stem.

I created a second card in Tahitian Tide with the “Thanks” at the bottom of the card, I couldn’t decide which way I liked it better, what do you think?

Rainbow of Happiness – Inspirations In Ink Blog Hop

Welcome to the monthly Inspirations In Ink Blog Hop! This month’s theme is all about In Colors. You may be starting here or have come from another blog – either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today. I hope you enjoy all our In Color Blog Hop Projects!

Sweet Sorbet and Starry Sky are one of my favorite In Color combinations and are featured in my project. Rainbow of Happiness is one of the Bundles in the Jan-June Mini Catalog that I will miss so I wanted to use it in my project before it retires on June 30th.

To create my card I started with the Sweet Sorbet cardbase from the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes. I die cut several of the rainbow stripes in Sweet Sorbet and Starry Sky 6″x 6″ DSP Assortment. Then, I adhered them to a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut the cardstock with the 2nd largest rectangle in the Deckled Rectangles Dies.

I used the Cloud Punch to punch out a Basic White Cloud and a Vellum Cloud. Then snipped the Vellum Cloud in half and adhered it to the back of the Basic White Cloud with Mini Glue Dots. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach it to the rainbow.

The label is die cut with the Tailor Made Tags dies. I used Masking Paper to cover up “World” and stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet. Then masking the stamp again stamped “World” in Starry Sky.

I tied a piece of Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon to the top of the tag and then attached it to the Basic White layer with Mini Glue Dots.

To put all the layers together, I adhered a piece of the Lovely Layers Vellum with Multipurpose glue to the cardbase. Then added the Basic White layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few of the Iridescent Jewels to the front of the card and stamped some hearts to the inside of the card.

Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop – June Customer Thank Yous

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop of ideas and creative inspiration. My Customer Thank You cards this month feature the Charming Sentiments Bundle and Abstract Beauty DSP. If you’ve been following me you know that I love an eye catching and easy to create card. This pretty card is no exception, and this card layout is also great for showing off Designer Series Paper.

To create this card I cut a piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock to 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored it in half at 5-1/2″. I adhered a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Abstract Beauty DSP to the card base. Next, I adhered a 2-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Abstract Beauty DSP. I die cut a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock using the Deckled Rectangles Dies and adhered it to the card.

To Create the label, I die cut the hexagon with the Beautiful Shapes Dies. Then using the Charming Sentiments stamp set, I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and die cut it with the Charming Sentiments Dies. I love the extra shapes that are included with the Charming Sentiments Dies and cut out the Blushing Bride heart. I added the sentiment and heart to the hexagon with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added the hexagon with Stampin’ Dimensionals as well. To finish the front of my card I added a few Adhesive Backed Hexagons.

On the inside of my card I added a piece of Basic White DSP and Abstract Beauty DSP. This strip of Abstract Beauty DSP is the scrap left over from the same pattern I used on the card front, trimmed to 1″ x 5-1/2″. I wanted us use up my pack of Abstract Beauty DSP before it retires at the end of the month, so I created several in one batch.

My Father’s Day card features the Alphabest Bundle. It’s a great stamp set for creating that perfect sentiment. I wanted this Father’s Day card to have the look of a message board.

To create this fun and quick card, I started with a piece Sahara Sand cardstock for the cardbase. I cut a piece of He’s the Man DSP and adhered to the cardbase.

To create the message board I scored a piece of Basic White Cardstock on the short side every 1/4″. Next, I used the Fabulous Frames Dies and Early Espresso cardstock to create the frame for the message board. I used Stampin Dimensionals to adhere the frame to the Basic White cardstock, then trimmed it to the size of the frame. To give it a little more stability before adding the letters, I cut a piece of Foam Adhesive sheet and attached it to the back of the Basic White cardstock.

I stamped the letters in Early Espresso and Cajun Craze and punched them out with the Best Label punch. Using a bone folder I gently cured the ends of the letters and attached them with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also added a few Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots. Then I peeled the backing off of the Foam Adhesive sheet to attach it to the cardbase.

On the inside of the card I added a piece of Basic White Cardstock and stamped this fun image from the He’s All That stamp set. I used a piece of Masking Paper to cover up part of the sentiment before stamping it. I’m so happy that Stampin’ Up! added Masking Paper to the tools in the new Annual Catalog! I will definitely be using it a lot.

Alphabest Stamp Case Tip:

I shared this tip on Instagram and thought it was worth sharing here for everyone. The graphic in the stamp case is confusing for me. I was mixing up some of the letters and numbers.

To fix this, I cut a shipping label to 5″ x 6-7/8″. I put as many of the stamps as I could fit, in the order that I wanted, on the largest clear block and stamped the label. Put the few remaining stamps on a clear block and stamped them.

Then with the backing still on the label slipped it into the case over the graphic of chaos. When I put the stamps in the case they are backward but it’s much easier for me to find the letter or number I’m looking for.

I hope you enjoyed my project and the Tip for the Alphabest stamp case today! For more inspiration from the Luv 2 Stamp Group Blog Hop Team, click on the image below to visit the talented Patty Bennett! Don’t forget to continue following links on each blog to see everyone’s projects!

A Cup of Tea with Glimmer

The Cup of Tea Bundle is one of my favorite Bundles n the new Annual Catalog! As a lover of Tea this was at the top of my shopping list!

My card also features the 2022-2024 In Color 6’x6″ Glimmer Paper. If you haven’t tried it, Glimmer Paper is amazing! I love the shimmer it adds to my projects and its mess free! No traces of glitter all over my craft room!

To create this card I cut (2) 1/2″x 5-1/2″ strips of Starry Sky Glimmer Paper, and (2) 1/2″x5-1/2″ Parakeet Party Glimmer Paper. I adhered them to the Basic White cardbase with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I die cut a stitched circle in Vellum with the Stylish Shapes Dies. Using Tear & Tape I added a strip of White glittered Organdy Ribbon. I added another strip of Tear & Tape over the ribbon to add it to my cardbase.

Then using an Adhesive Sheet added to the back of some Parakeet Party Glimmer Paper, I die cut the leaf tea cup. I die cut the sold Tea Cup in Starry Sky Glimmer Paper. This made adding the Parakeet Party Tea Cup to the Starry Sky tea cup super quick and easy. I attached the tea cup to the Vellum Circle with Foam Adhesive Sheet cut to fit the cup.

To finish my card, I stamped 2 tea tags in Starry Sky and Parakeet Party and die cut them. I tied some Basic White Bakers Twine to my card and left 2 long tales at the top. Using Glue dots I attached the tags to them. I added these cute die cut hearts to the back of the tags with another glue dot.

Cup of Tea with Glimmer Card Measurements:

  • Basic White Thick Cardstock Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score in half at 4-1/4″
  • Starry Sky Glimmer Paper Strip: (2) 1/2″ x 5-1/2″
  • Parakeet Party Glimmer Paper Strip: (2) 1/2″ x 5-1/2″
